STEP ONE: CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
Before placing your commission, please take a moment to look through my current price list and choose the portrait size you would like to order. If you are unsure which size would work best please get in touch - I am always happy to help you decide.
The prices listed are for my standard portrait sizes. If you are looking for something a little difference, such as a custom size or different ratio, or a portrait with 3 or more subjects please contact me and I will be happy to provide a personalised quote.
Please note: prices to do not include postage & packaging. At this time, I am only able to ship within the UK and cannot offer international shipping.

STEP TWO: REFERENCE PHOTO
Once you have decided on the portrait size you would like, the next step is choosing a reference photo. This is one of the most important parts of the process, as your portrait will be created using this image.
Please email your chosen reference photo, along with any additional images you feel may be helpful, to tzevansart@gmail.com. While extra images can be useful for details such as colouring or markings, the portrait itself will be drawn from one main reference image. For this reason, it isn’t possible to combine multiple photos or alter the pose from the photo.
If you’re unsure whether your photo is suitable, feel free to send it over and I’ll be happy to advise.
TIPS FOR YOUR REFERENCE PHOTO
- To create the most detailed and accurate portrait, you’ll need a clear, high-quality headshot of your pet. A mobile phone camera is more than sufficient for this.
- Try to avoid taking photos in strong, direct sunlight, as harsh light can create heavy shadows and hide important features. Soft, natural light works best - early morning, later evening, or an overcast day are ideal conditions.
- Take the photo at your pet’s eye level, avoiding angles that are too high or too low. Key features such as the eyes and nose should be in sharp focus and clearly visible.
Top tip: Hold your pet’s favourite treat just behind the camera lens to help keep their attention and capture a lovely expression.
It’s always a good idea to take several photos so you can choose the best one to send over.
PASSED PETS
Many of my previous commissions have been created in memory of much-loved pets who have sadly passed away. If this is the case for your pet, please don’t worry - you’re welcome to send me any photos you have, and I will do my very best to work with them.
STEP THREE: SECURE YOUR BOOKING
COMMISSION A PORTRAIT
Once you’ve chosen your portrait size and reference photo, the next step is to secure your booking. If you haven’t already, please get in touch via email so we can discuss the details of your commission and the overall process.
Your booking will be confirmed once a 20% non-refundable deposit has been received. The remaining balance will be payable once your portrait is complete and you are completely happy with the final result, before delivery.
The time required to complete a portrait can vary depending on several factors, including the size of the artwork, the number of subjects, and the level of detail involved. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please let me know at the time of your enquiry and I will do my very best to accommodate it.
All artwork is provided with a Certificate of Authenticity.
